Thanks girls for filling the bird feeders! All the rest of us have to do is wait and see our 'visitors'!

Everyone was dressed up for Halloween. It was to see such a huge crowd leaving their cars and stepping it out to school. Keep up the good work!
First Class are examining our harvest. We have onions, chives, parsley, oregano, rosemary, thyme and sage. I think we might have to to make some soup very soon!
I see some children with an enormous stick of rhubarb - it's almost as big as an umbrella! Maybe we'll have rhubarb pie for dessert! Look at the last 3 pictures. These pictures were taken last spring. Our plants grew very well. The Greenschools' Committee members are wondering what to do about our 'Black Spot' at the back of the school. Maybe the planter boxes and some of the bird tables could be moved here? What do you think? We would value any suggestions, please.
We had a great turn out this morning for our first 'green travel' day of the new school year. There were bikes, scooters, roller blades, parents' shoulders and loads of feet! Well done to us all-not a car in sight!
Mr.Clune's 5th Class won the Golden Boot Award this week. They had the highest percentage of Green Travel, that is, Park'n'Stride, Walk, Cycle or Car Pool. Well done to you all!
Eoin, who is a member of the Greenschools' Committee, received the trophy from Ms. Daffy's class. They had won the Boot last week. Fifth class will not only have the Golden Boot for the week but they will also get a treat from Mr. Clune. That could be extra P.E. or maybe extra time on I.T.
